The last one of the UVG-bodied Mercedes-Benz is seen here working a Park and Ride service in Cardiff. Despite the fact that it is about three months old it has yet to receive any fleet names.
The service ran to Maritime Road. This road had only a short life and came into being around 1980 when a road was first built across the entrances to Bute West and East docks as they were no longer in use. Subsequent redevlopment has seen it disappear but there is still a Park and Ride in approximately the same location, the Cardiff South Park and Ride at County Hall.
