The “Johannesburg” front fitted to 87 and 88 didn’t really sit well with the curves of the Roe body. The only other vehicle with this front fitted with a Roe body was 7014 YG, a 30-foot long front-entrance vehicle which operated for Blue Line of Armthorpe.

The service via Windsor Hotel ran just hourly and on Mondays to Fridays the only such departures worked by Pontypridd were at 1645hrs and 1945hrs.
