This bus appears in this collection at both ends of the route and another Solo can also be seen, giving the impression that Speedwell treated it as a low-floor route, but Solo appearances soon became infrequent during their operation and the usual vehicle was a step-entrance Mercedes. MX54 KYH turns into Ashton bus station with a healthy load on 2nd April 2005. As a 7.8m example it was shorter than most of the other Solos in the Speedwell fleet, which are too long for parts of the route, so this one was the 'regular' Solo, when there was one.
