843, destined to be the last trolleybus in public service, waits departure time at Thornbury at the beginning of the last week of operation.

The wiring here in the inbound direction continued along Leeds Old Road to Killinghall Road. Originally retained following the closure of the Bradford Moor route to allow trolleybuses from Thornbury depot to reach the Bolton-Bankfoot and Wakefield Road services, it survived their abandonment as it was used as a test circuit from Thornbury depot.
