847 and 703 are on an enthusiasts' tour, with both showing short working displays, 703 for Spring Head Road on the Thornton route and 847 for Chapel Lane. The Allerton service had finished by the time of this photograph but the service used this piece of wiring which is just above Thornton Road (visible in the background). It remained in use for depot journeys to Duckworth Lane.
