Subject: Edmonton Radial Railway 102 Chassis: AEC 663T Body: English Electric B38D Location: Preston, Dick, Kerr Works Date: 1939
Interior view of 102. The reinforcement for the trolley base can be seen. The sanders mentioned in the introduction were filled from within the vehicle, the sand hopper holding about 5cwt of sand. I believe the floor traps in the gangway by the exit door may have been the ones used for this purpose.
The English Electric coachwork transfer is visible on the bulkhead behind the driver's cab. Note also the cord-operated bell running partially in tubes, top right.
