A long-standing diversion in Oldham started on 4th January 2016 due to Greaves Street being closed for development work on the former Town Hall, leaving buses no way of getting from Union Street to St. Mary’s Way.

The diversion for most (but not all) services involved leaving Mumps bus station down Prince Street, along the by-pass, Brook Street and Egerton Street.

33668 has just turned onto Brook Street and is passing the boarded-up premises of John H. Williamson, a long-standing supplier of engineering items, particularly military surplus. It is passing Metrolink 3104 on the roundabout route to Ashton from Rochdale.
