There appear to be two buses outside the Woolpack at Dobcross on this rather blown-up photograph clearly taken when the "new" Woolpack was just that - it was built in 1926 and opened early the following year. Contemporary timetables show that a bus from Oldham via Scouthead would cross a bus to Delph or Denshaw there quite frequently, but it is impossible to make a positive identification.
