Subject: Gelligaer UDC 19 (YTX 62)
Chassis: AEC Reliance 2MU3RV
Body: Longwell Green B44F
Location: Pontypridd, off Chapel Street
Date: 12-Jan-1974

This bus was new as number 5 but renumbered along with almost all the fleet in 1966. It carries the original (1967) version of the revised livery of red, white and green - the Welsh flag colours later used by National Welsh. It has worked from Bedlinog and is laying over on the spare land of Chapel Street.

When it became part of the Rhymney Valley fleet on 1-Apr-1974 it gained a fleet number (62) that matched the registration. However, this situation didin't last very long - it was the first former Gelligaer bus to be withdrawn in October that year and was dismantled for spares.
