I never experienced these on this service but I would expect it to be an aural treat - Leyland-engined Bristol REs were very sonorous beasts. Ribble 1017 is an ECW-bodied RELH6L and is leaving Oldham's Yelloway coach station with a Battersby's coach to the right in its distinctive pink livery.
