Huddersfield's G1 class comprised 28 vehicles based on an order originally placed in 1941 (with long-term planning in mind). 541 was the first of the type and is in original condition here without a ventilator in the central front window upstairs. Although Karrier production had ceased 541 carried a Karrier badge. It was withdrawn on 5-Feb-1964 and presented to the National Trolleybus Association on 21-Jun-1964.
