SELNEC Metro-Scania EX53 has just arrived at Tameside depot and hasn't got proper blinds, although it's hard to understand why it has no number blinds. Instead it is found in Ashton bus station with a selection of pieces of paper showing it to be on the 154. The photograph dates from about August 1973 and the route was renumbered as the 354 from 2nd December 1973.
