The lower saloon of 1308 shows the typical Manchester interior, a style that didn't change until the last postwar buses with Manchester's style of bodywork were delivered in early 1952.

The panel above the windows in the front bulkhead has a mirror on the nearside but a window on the offside to allow the driver to view the platform area through a mirror which can be seen. This panel was a typical Manchester feature.
