There are very few photographs of Buses on Mill Street - it is really hard to imagine how this was the principal road access into the Rhondda Valley but that was all about to change with the new Sardis Road bridge. Michaelson's Stores behind look to have already closed and the building would soon be demolished as part of the associated road changes.
50 is turning into Catherine Street having looped round the town centre and looks to have an inspector at the back checking the work of the conductor.
