86 received the light blue livery in Pontypridd UDC days but I suspect this photograph dates from just after the change to Taff-Ely, although I don't have an exact date.

It is picking up on Taff Street on its way to Oaklands, with quite a lot of passengers boarding, including a rather smartly-dressed gent just about to get on.

This photographs shows clearly the unusual feature of these Roe bodies with the polished aluminium trim not continuing to the rear of the bus as you would expect - this was not unique to Pontypridd.
