NCS had two shops on Union Street at the time of this advert in the Oldham Centenary Shopping Scheme booklet issued in 1949. Both were convenient for cinemas as described. The one at 143a was across from the Odeon at the corner of Greenhill Passage, whilst the one at 90 was next to what was called the Palladium at the time, later known as the ABC.
