116 languishes in an area of the garage used for parking defective buses. For reasons unknown it stayed there for several months after this photograph, fortunately being treated to quite a lot of new crimson and white paint before it re-entered serviced in the summer.
To the right is 345, one of five of the twenty-five PD2/3s that survived to be taken over by SELNEC. In the left background can be made out a quite shiny 246, not long since repainted in pommard and cream, and one of the ex-Sheffield PD2/1s, almost certainly 465.
