P4017

A general view of the workshops around 1933 with two Crossley IGL3 chassis on the right and three Leyland Titan TD3 chassis to the left, two of which have the lower deck all-metal framing. These are almost certainly for the Burnley, Colne and Nelson as, based on the evidence of this archive at least, they were the only operator who bought Leylands with five-bay bodies in this period. For some reason Leylands generally had six-bay bodies whilst other makes usually had five-bay bodies.
