The first Northern Counties-bodied bus for Oldham Corporation was PD2/20 413 (NBU 413). By the time of this photograph it had received the later pommard and devon cream livery and was actually owned by SELNEC. The only indication of the change of ownership was the removal of the coats-of-arms and fleetname. It is passing the top of Oaklands Road on 8th May 1971 with an unidentified Bedford VAL/Plaxton in the background.
