The area at the back of Mumps bus station has been asphalted and made into a car park, but is still being used as a starting point for coaches to reduce congestion at the yelloway coach station across the road. To the right is the short-lived building that preceded the B & Q store here, which I recall as an Industrail exhibition unit, I suspect an attempt to attract jobs to Oldham at a time when there had been many job losses.
ECW 65W was a Bedford YMT with Plaxton Supreme C53F body. It was working on hire to Yelloway on the service to Rhyl.
