A lovely morning shot of North Western 726 climbing Sam Road to the bridge at Diggle station. It reveals a panorama of transport no longer visible due to tree growth. To the left of the telephone box can be seen the Huddersfield Narrow Canal whilst beyond that is the railway. Taken not long after the sidings behind the signal box and the Micklehurst loop tracks were lifted, the track formation is little changed today - even the signal box survives.

This is a Bob Mack print and I have been unable to determine the current copyright owner. I would be delighted know who it is!
