One of the most remarkable transformations to occur with an Oldham bus was this rebuild of TD4 109 (BU 8864) as this Barton BTS1 single-decker with a Barton DP43F(!) body in July 1951, entering service in January 1952. Ten years later this most distinctive vehicle lies de-licensed at the company's main depot.
