Ian Gaunt operated coaches in Oldham from about 1972 to late 1983. One of the fleet was this Plaxton Consort IV-bodied AEC Reliance which had been new to Wild of Barnoldswick. This coach had a centre entrance which had already become quite unusual.
To the right is one of several Burlingham Seagull 60-bodied Ford Thams 570Es that were owned by Devonways and kept on this site. This example (YWP 396) was new to Royal of Redditch.
