This is a holding gallery where pictures of First West Yorkshire vehicles are stored. It is not a completed gallery and currently only holds photographs found elsewhere on the site.
The gallery starts from the purchase of Yorkshire Rider by Badgerline on 15th April 1994. With the merger of Badgerline and the GRT Group on 16th June 1995 the new organisation was known as FirstBus, later FirstGroup.
In September 1995 Yorkshire Rider was split into four divisions which were Bradford Traveller (Bradford), Calderline (Halifax and Todmorden), Kingfisher (Huddersfield) and Leeds City Link (Leeds). In February 1998, these were all renamed to First Bradford, First Calderdale, First Huddersfield and First Leeds respectively.
In 2003 the Halifax and Huddersfield operations were combined and then in 2009 all were brought together under common management including the York operation.
