Subject: First Manchester 60224 (W302 JND)
Location: Yorkshire Street, Oldham
Date: 12-Apr-2013

First’s only standard Mercedes-Benz Citaros were at one time all based at Oldham and were new there in 2000. They moved en masse to Bury in 2005/6 following the arrival of the large fleet of Volvo B7RLEs. However, some returned to Oldham some years later and appear on certain services such as the 425.

60224 was 302 until the national numbering scheme was introduced and is passing the top of Prince Street where the tram crossing is being installed. Despite apparently heading up Yorkshire Street the bus is actually going to to turn down Rhodes bank (the former Gas Street) as Union Street was closed for track laying.
