Subject: Bradford C. T. 847 (JWW 377) Chassis: Sunbeam F4 Body: East Lancs H37/29F Location: Sandtoft, The Trolleybus Museum Date: 31-Jul-1983
A blue line-up at Sandtoft in 1983, comprising mainly Bradford trolleybuses. The far vehicle is Rotherham 37, next is Bradford 774 (originally Notts & Derby). The next is Bradford 706 with another of the same batch, 713, extreme right. Bradford's last batch of all-new trolleybuses is represented by 758 then come all three of the 'Mexborough' Sunbeams on 1950 chassis which became Bradford 845-847. Note the livery variation on 847 which doesn't have black mouldings above the upper deck windows. Even at this date these three had spent more time in preservation than they had in service in Bradford.
The final vehicle is Walsall 342, hiding quite well amongst the other trolleybuses which were all from Yorkshire.
