Another vehicle making the sharp turn in Llantrisant is Leyland National NS7533, new as Maidstone & District 3526. One of a total of seven from that source, it was one of the first two to join the National Welsh fleet, in Jun-1980.

Given the tightness of this manoeuvre, it is surprising that there are only single yellow lines - a parked vehicle here would cause significant problems.

The advert on the side of the bus is very much of its time - audio cassettes were the way forward in the early eighties but they have long been replaced by other better and easier ways of listening.
