It would appear that 396 has been stabled in the coach park at Weymouth over the Easter weekend and is being prepared for the return journey. It is behind a similar vehicle which it is likely is another Rhondda one.

To the right is a former Whittle, Highley, Bedford SB1 with Burlingham Seagull 60 C41F body XUX 818. This was from the era when Whittle's would renew their fleet every year and as a consequence their vehicles were widely seen with other operators.
