Whilst First's 40271 looked like many other Dennis Darts in the fleet, it was different as it started life as a Plaxton demonstrator, hence the Hull registration. It is at the top of the hill at Greenfield station on 14th August 2004, in the middle of the long detour between bottom and top Mossley.
