17002 was the second production Trident for the UK market and had entered service as a dual-door bus with Stagecoach East London as TA2 in 1999. Moving to Devon when only four years old it was converted to single-door and it moved again to Manchester in 2013. It was a surprising vehicle to see on a service for which a Plaxton Primo was normally considered sufficient.

17002 went round a full circle as after this view it returned to London temporarily before going yet again to Devon.
