47751 decides to pop into Saddleworth during its relatively short stay in Manchester. It had been new to Preston Bus who were taken over by Stagecoach following a period of very hostile competition. However, the Competition Commission wasn’t happy with the reduced level of competion and ordered Stagecoach to sell off the business.
This was done but 47751 stayed with Stagecoach and moved to Yorkshire, where it was painted in a special livery for working the Supertram Link services, carrying cherished mark RHE 353. Transferred to Manchester in 2012 it later moved to be repainted in Carlisle for service in Morecambe.
