Subject: Oldham C. T. 405 (NBU 505) Chassis: Leyland Titan PD2/20 Body: Roe H33/27R Location: Oldham, High Street Date: mid-1960s
This was such a typical sight in Oldham at the time, but things change. 405 heads for Hollinwood before the 1968 renumbering which saw the O become the 28 and 29.
Sterling was a popular brand of cigarettes at the time but faded in popularity and was discontinued by the end of the 1970s, only to be resurrected in 2006.
