The 31 is one of the busier routes in Vienna and is the only one to cross the Danube which it does on a long bridge between Friedrich-Engels-Platz and Floridsdorf. The 30 is an unusual service as it is nothing but a short working of the 31 from Floridsdorf to Stammersdorf which runs on Monday to Friday peak hours.
Both are worked, not surprisingly, from Floridsdorf depot using ULFs from the B class (on the 31) and E1 cars hauling c4 trailers together with E2 cars hauling c5 trailers (on both).
