Subject: Rhondda 411 (TTX 989) on hire to City of Oxford
Chassis: AEC Regent V MD3RV
Body: Weymann H33/28R
Location: Oxford station
Date: 26-Jul-1969

411 was on hire to Oxford from 25-Jul-1969 to 8-Aug-1969 and was given a temporary number R5, just visible above its original number. This photograph was taken on only its second day on hire. It is behind one of City of Oxford's four AEC Renowns with Northern Counties bodies 368-371 (FWL 368-371E). The last Renowns built, they were virtually identical to those delivered to Western Welsh which regularly worked into the Rhondda and some of which would even be allocated to Porth.
