Subject: National Welsh UC370 (SKG 180H) Chassis: Leyland Leopard PSU3A/4R Body: Plaxton Panorama Elite C49F Location: Cardiff bus station Date: c.1975
This batch of six Leopards were the only additions to the fleet in 1970, a lull before the storm as 1971 brought lots of new buses as well as the Rhondda fleet and six coaches from Neath and Cardiff. UC370 had originally been Western Welsh 180 and was renumbered in 1974.
It was downgraded to dual-purpose in October 1980, at the same time receiving the dual-purpose livery. Renumbered UD1106 in Jan-1983 it was withdrawn in 1984.
The single combined destination and number blind has been modified to show the new number for the Liverpool service.
