These signs were put up around the operating area of GMT's Tameside depot, as when it opened there two sets of drivers from the former Ashton and SHMD depots which had moved there and didn't know each others' routes.

This particular one is near Carrcote in Delph and shows the 355 route going up Lodge Lane to turn round whilst the 353 continued to Denshaw.
