Hanson 405 became Huddersfield 1 before becoming 4001 in the West Yorkshire PTE fleet. This was one of the very early repaints into the new Verona Green and Buttermilk livery and featured a prototype fleetname and an attempt to recreate the feature strip of the double-deck livery, neither of which were perpetuated in later single-deck repaints.
