The Buckley Wells Bus Enthusiasts hired Oldham 231 for a visit to the Bradford trolleybus system on this date. The trip included a visit to the Oldham garage and the active Crossley fleet was brought outside for photographs. 362 was the last of the single-deckers and would literally have days to go.
This visit started the association between the society and the double-decker 368 which led to its preservation, something I became involved in myself for many years. The full story will appear in another gallery on this site in due course.
