842 passes Thornbury depot where the only wires remaining are those into the workshops, seen going off in the background.

On the depot forecourt is one of the few remaining AEC Regent IIIs with Birmingham-style fronts. Most of the batch was withdrawn in 1966 or 1967 with just ten out of the forty then remaining until 1971/72.
