Subject: Red & White 252 (C53 FDV) Chassis: Ford Transit 190D Body: Robin Hood B16F (on Dormobile shell) Location: Pontypridd, Morgan Street Date: c.1993
New as North Devon 400, this Ford Transit had been loaned to National Welsh in its final weeks at Barry and for operation there had been painted in a simplified Bustler livery without the blue stripes, a colour scheme also used by Red & White on their Bustler fleet until the red and white livery was introduced. This bus moved to Red & White by the end of 1992 and received the new number 252 as visible here.
It is working the Y4 service from Rhydyfelin to Glyncoch with a standard of passenger information presentation that leaves a lot to be desired.
