This was one of a block of 44 Ford Transits in a single registration series new to North Devon, but 445 (as this was numbered) was one of the last ten that differed in having bodies produced completely by Dormobile instead of being finished by Robin Hood.

It was one of five in this series that had worked briefly for National Welsh at Barry before joining others that had passed directly to Red & White.

The driver is struggling with low sunlight as he tries to pull out across Bridge Street on a working from Ynysybwl.
