Bee Line 675 was new to Greater Glasgow PTE as LA789 and was one of the first series to the new PTE specification, the most obvious feature of which was the panoramic windows. These were however to prove the downfall of the design as the removal of so many window pillars led to structural problems and their early demise in Glasgow. However, such was the demand for buses in the immediate post-deregulation era that they found a ready market with this one passing to London Country South West as their LA329. It was then sold to Bee Line in 1990 to strengthen the fleet. Uppermill, 17th July 1990.
