70 is seen here in its home town after having been converted to single-door. It is working on the DART service, a joint operation with The Eden set up in 1986. This work took Darlington's buses out of the town for the first time.
Although the bus wars have started with United's Roadranger minibus network, they have yet to go up the final notch with Stagecoach's brutal launch into the town.
