It is not normal to see trams side-by-side at Karlsplatz, but the loop there was being used for a diversion of the D (see that gallery). 4016 is on the D (despite the incorrectly-programmed display!) whilst 622 is on the 1. The superior performance of the LED displays in bright lighting (compared to the flip-dots on 622) can be seen.
