Subject: Rhondda 189 (FNY 532) Chassis: Guy Arab II 6LW Body: Park Royal UH30/26R Location: Porth depot Date: c.1949
Parked outside the bottom garage, this view shows in the background the original office building which was demolished in the early 1950s prior to the new office being opened on Aberrhondda Road, creating more space in the tightly-packed yard.
189 was one of the first wartime Guys to be withdrawn as part of the normal disposals, in 1955. The body had been rebuilt by Longwell Green in 1948.
