206 looks well turned-out and presumably, from the destination display, is waiting before taking day trippers down to Barry. It is at the bottom of Berw Road, the road leading to Clydach Vale. Prominent in the background are Llwynypia Junior and Infants schools, still going strong today.

206 is recorded as being rebuilt by Longwell Green in 1950 and it certainly looks here more like a bus that has just been rebuilt rather than one that needs rebuilding, so the date of the photo may be slightly later than estimated above.
