These Atlanteans had not long been in Pontypridd, replacements for the well-liked Regent Vs. 87 is still in Newport livery (and was to remain so) whereas 80 to the right has received Taff-Ely colours. These buses were formerly 17 and 10 respectively in the Newport fleet and had been acquired in 1982, being new in 1971.
