Subject: Edinburgh C. T. 263 Maker: English Electric Truck: Maley & Taunton Swing Link Seating: 62 Location: Newhaven, Stanley Road Date: 1934
A fine pose of 263 on the curve from Craighill Road into Stanley Road. The livery on these cars was brighter with more white but presumably this proved less durable as they later received a livery incorporating more madder (the official term for Edinburgh's maroon colour).
The two circles to the left of the number blind were route indication lights which were used at night. For the 16 route two green lights would have been displayed.
