This vehicle had started as Red & White U1065 (DAX 613C) and just made it into the National Welsh era, being withdrawn in 1978. By October that year it had been converted to a towing vehicle and was numbered E12.

It is parked by the site of the bus wash which by this date had moved, I believe to the other side of the fuelling bay.
