716 is dwarfed by Warley House, not long built at the time. Behind 716 is a BMC VA BRS parcels van, also known as a 'Noddy Van'. These were a familiar sight at the time and around a long time - they were produced from 1958 to 1976.

The "No Entry" sign visible in the left background shows that this photograph was taken after the creation of the loop for inbound trolleybuses via Glyde Gate and Morley Street on 18th May 1969.
